Father Arthur A. Busch

Father Arthur A. Busch was born on May 14, 1931, in Chase, Kansas. He prepared for the priesthood at Conception Seminary, Conception, Mo., and was ordained to the priesthood on May 24, 1958, for the Diocese of Wichita. During his priestly ministry, Father Busch served as pastor of the following parishes: Saint Peter, Schulte; St. Mary, Derby; and All Saints, Wichita. He was an assistant at St. Anne, Wichita; Sacred Heart, Colwich; St. Mary, Newton; and the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Wichita. Father Busch served for many years as editor of the Catholic Advance, was diocesan secretary of communications, and served in other diocesan posts. He retired from parish ministry in 2000 and was residing at the Catholic Care Center in Wichita at the time of his death. He is buried in Ascension Cemetery in Wichita.
